CONSENT

• By completing this form, I grant Excel Tutors permission to use my child's photo or video in any of their publications and securely store it in their database.

PAYMENT AGREEMENT

• Admission & Registration Fees: Admission is confirmed after payment of the monthly fee and a one-month deposit, which must be made in advance each month.
• Registration Fee: £25
• Refundable Deposit: A deposit equal to one month's tuition fees is required at admission. This deposit is refundable only upon closing the student's account and may be used to settle any unpaid fees, including those for stationery and other items. The deposit will be adjusted to the last month's fee.
• Workbook Fees: Excel Tutors will provide workbooks, with the cost included in the regular monthly tuition fees.
• Monthly Payments: Tuition fees must be paid in advance between the 1st and 5th of each month. Failure to pay on time may result in the use of a debt collection agency to recover the arrears. Your child’s registration may also be cancelled.
• Late Payment Fees: If payment is not made by the agreed date without contacting Excel Tutors, a late payment fee of £5 will be applied if the payment is not made by the 5th of the month, and an additional £10 fee will be charged if the payment is delayed beyond the 10th of the month. These late fees will be added to your monthly payment.
• Damage Fees: Excel Tutors reserves the right to impose fines on parents for any damage caused to property by the student or parent.
• Payment Method: Payment can only be made via bank transfer, cash, or British debit card. We do not accept credit cards as a payment method.

COVER LESSONS

• Unauthorised Absences: Any student absent without 24 hours' advance notice will be marked as an unauthorised absence, and fees for that lesson will not be refunded. No timetable adjustments or extra sessions will be provided.
• Authorised Absences: Parents must notify Excel Tutors at least 24 hours in advance if their child cannot attend classes. Authorised absences can be made up with an extra lesson during half-term school holidays. Regular payments remain unaffected. The date and time of the cover lesson will be decided by the management.
• Absence Consequences: Unauthorised absences of two weeks or more will result in the cancellation of the student's registration without refunding the deposit. Re-registration will incur a £30 charge.
• Refunds on Deposit: Students cannot claim a refund on the deposit if they leave without giving the statutory one month's notice or have two weeks of unauthorised absence. If a student decides to leave permanently, the deposit and any advance payment will be refunded only if one month's notice is given. Notices must be given before 5th of the month. The deposit will be refunded via bank transfer.
• Cover Lesson Policy: Only one cover lesson is allowed per month. 11+ students are not eligible for any cover lessons.

STUDENT-CENTRE AGREEMENT

• Belongings: Students and parents are advised to take care of their belongings. Excel Tutors is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged property.
• Transport: Parents are responsible for their child's safe transport to and from the centre. Excel Tutors does not provide parking spaces for parents or staff.
• Responsibility: Excel Tutors is not responsible for students outside tuition hours.
• Behaviour Policy: Excel Tutors aims to provide a safe and positive learning environment. If a student's behaviour negatively impacts others, they may be excluded from the centre.
• Accidents: While all care is taken to ensure the safety of students, accidents may occur. In such cases, Excel Tutors will inform the parent/guardian immediately. A first aid kit and qualified first aiders are on site, but Excel Tutors accepts no liability for any injuries.
• Staff Contact and Gifts: Parents are not permitted to take contact details of Excel Tutors staff or exchange gifts.
• Detention Policy: Detentions may be assigned for incomplete homework (30 minutes), a lack of a parent's signature in the planner(15 minutes), a lack of equipment such as books or pens (15 minutes), or behaviour issues (30 minutes).
• GCSE Students: The last lesson for GCSE/SATs students is on 10th May. Continuation beyond this date requires notifying the office by 30th April.

PARENT-CENTRE AGREEMENT

• General Information: Office hours are Monday through Friday from 10 am to 7 pm and weekends from 9 am to 6 pm. Tuition hours are Monday through Friday from 5 pm to 7 pm and Saturday through Sunday from 9 am to 6:10 pm. Contact can be made via 07758271568 or 02070011411. • Homework: Students receive a week's worth of homework and can bring schoolwork for assistance. Regular attendance and punctuality are essential for progress. Parents are requested to check and sign their child's homework planner.
• Required Materials: Students must bring a maths geometry set, including a pencil, eraser, pencil sharpener, pen, ruler, and planner, as well as books and revision materials. Excel Tutors cannot lend equipment.
• Long Absences: If a student needs to take more than two weeks off, their lessons will be temporarily halted, and the same teacher and timetable may not be available upon return.
• Changes in Enrolment: For long absences, subject changes, or time slot adjustments, parents must inform Excel Tutors by text or email by the 5th of the month, using the changes request form available at reception. Verbal and telephone notices will not be accepted.
• Withdrawal: If a student decides to leave permanently, one month's notice must be given at the beginning of the month for a refund of the deposit and advance payment.
• Cancellation: Excel Tutors may cancel registration without refunding the deposit if there is an unauthorised absence of more than two weeks. Re-registration will cost £30.
